MAINTENANCE PLAN

Please fill out the form below if you would like to sign up for our pool maintenance plan.

It is a pre-requisite that an evaluation of your swimming pool and equipment be carried out by Pool Care Clinic prior to the commencement of the service agreement so as to ensure that all the relevant equipment is in good working order and that the water chemistry is at an acceptable level. A labour charge of R780.00 will be rendered for this visit which will include a written quotation of what may need attention.

    Frequency Charge Per Visit

The service charge excludes chemicals and any replacement parts. Minor replacement parts will be replaced automatically, i.e.: Hoses, diaphragms, multi-port valves, bumper rings, outer extensions, baskets and vacuum lids. A maintenance visit includes the removal of all leaves from the pool, backwash, rinse the filter, cleaning of the chlorinator cell (if applicable) brushing of the walls and a vacuum if necessary, cleaning the baskets as well as the analyzing of the water chemistry and chemical adjustment on site. Salt levels are adjusted after a water sample has been tested at the shop. A separate quote will be submitted for any major work requiring attention. It is expected of clients to assist us by ensuring that the skimmer box basket and pump basket are always free of leaves so as to ensure that the pump and chlorinator have a free unrestricted flow of water. Clients are required to ensure that the water level in the pool is always topped up to the correct level. Excessive topping up must be reported to the Technician or the office so as to enable the staff to examine the system for possible leaks. NB! If the service cannot be carried out because of access being denied or a low water level, the service will be charged for and carried out to the next due date unless alternative arrangements can be made with the office to reschedule the visit. Keys may be provided for gaining access to the pool area which will be issued on the day of service and locked in our safe thereafter.

Visits made to site outside of routine maintenance, at the request of the client, are charged for at the standard labour rate. A double service fee is charged where staff are required to regularly spend in excess of thirty minutes on site attending to the pool. Basic pool cleaning equipment must be provided by the client for use by the service staff when on site.

Please report any faults/complaints/problems to the office within 24 hours of the visit.

Rates are generally reviewed in July each year regardless of the commencement date of the service.

Invoices and statements are sent to you at the end of the month and payment is payable by the 7th of the next month, failing which the service may be suspended until payment is received. If the pool deteriorates in the interim, the process of assessing/cleaning the pool will commence de novo.

There is no contractual period. The service may however be terminated on receipt of thirty working days’ notice.

In the event of Pool Care Clinic having to institute legal action against you as the client for the payment of monies due you hereby agree that it/he/she will be liable to make payment of Pool Care Clinic’s legal costs between attorney and own client.
